New staff members at St. Julian's!

We are very happy to welcome two new members to our team!

Helena Blanchard - Student Futures Coordinator
I am very excited to be joining St. Julian's School as the Student Futures Coordinator. Prior to coming to Portugal, I worked at Markham College in Lima, Peru, and in The British School of Warsaw, Poland as a University and UCAS coordinator, Careers Advisor and IB Psychology /TOK teacher. I have also lived and worked in Osaka, Japan, where my husband and I ran an English language school. I moved to beautiful Portugal with my family last July and, although we have not yet had the chance to explore this beautiful country, we are very happy to be here and to be part of the St. Julian's community. 

Catherine Calver - Year 6 Teacher
I am delighted to join the Year 6 team at St. Julian's while Sarah Waters is on maternity leave. I have worked as a teacher and in leadership in a variety of different schools across Australia, the Middle East and the UK. As my husband is Portuguese, prior to moving to Portugal, I had visited many times and am very excited to be living here now on a long term basis with my family. We are enjoying the beautiful city, and I am very excited to be part of the St. Julian's school community.
