Our students develop resilience, self-confidence and problem-solving skills thanks to a programme of holistic development. Respect, independence, responsibility, commitment and honesty are all prioritised alongside the IB learner profile.
British pastoral care
Tutors are the first point of contact for students and parents, who monitor academic and emotional wellbeing. Students are also supported by class teachers, ensuring their individual progress in academic, social, cultural and physical activities.
Year group support
Each Head of Year or Deputy Principal oversees their team of tutors, providing guidance and support to ensure consistent pastoral care across their yeargroup. This team acts as the first point of contact on matters relating to student wellbeing, monitoring welfare and supporting any additional needs a student might have. Working closely with teachers, our headsd of year track academic progress and attendance, intervening early if any concerns come to light.
Comprehensive security
We conduct thorough background checks for all staff, volunteers, members of the Board of Governors, the Parent Association, and outsourced personnel. Security procedures are regularly reviewed to maintain a safe, supportive environment for students, staff and visitors.
