Transport

We work closely with our partner, F-Irmãos, to ensure students’ safe transportation to and from St. Julian’s, mostly door to door. We strictly adhere to Portuguese authority guidelines.

To enrol your child, please follow the instructions at the bottom of the page.

Bus service schedule:

Morning collection

Times vary depending on the zone, travel time, distance, and the number of students on each route. We aim for an arrival at School between 8:00 and 8:10am.

Afternoon collection

Times from school:

Monday to Thursday*

Collection at 3:15 pm for a departure at the latest at 3.35 pm (Nursery, Reception, Years 1- 2 and 1º ano ONLY)
Collection at 4:05 pm for a departure at the latest at 4:25 pm for all the other students.

Friday

Collection at 2:05 pm for a departure at the latest at 2:25 pm for all students.

Please note that we cannot guarantee exact timings due to unpredictable traffic congestion or other road conditions, and the number of students using the service.

Transportation Zones and Coverage

Please note, transportation zones will only be serviced if enough students subscribe. St. Julian’s School and F-Irmãos will make every effort to accommodate requests from addresses outside the designated zone map. If transportation is requested from an area not currently covered, we will do our best to identify a nearby meeting point along an existing bus route.

Terms and Conditions

All students travelling on the School bus must always follow the driver’s and monitor’s instructions, as well as the School’s Behaviour Policy and general expectations for St. Julian’s students. Drivers and monitors represent the School.
Enrolment for the transportation service must be for the full academic year.
Withdrawal from the annual service is only permitted at the end of each term.
Prices are subject to change depending on the number of students who subscribe to the transportation service.
All daily changes to a student’s bus schedule must be submitted by email to transportation@stjulians.com
Eating or drinking on the School bus is not permitted.
Adult supervision is required for all children in Year 6/5º ano and below upon bus arrival. An adult must pick up these children directly from the bus’s designated arrival point. Exceptions can be made for Year 6/5º ano, if special permission is received from the parents.
