At St. Julian’s, our wide and varied clubs and societies for secondary students are a core part of student life. They enrich learning and help students discover new things they’re good at, what they love, and build friendships beyond the classroom. Clubs are firmly inclusive and open to all. Many are initiated and run by students themselves, helping to cultivate a strong sense of belonging to a community beyond the year groups.

Academic and creative enrichment

From Debate Club and STEM initiatives to language clubs, music ensembles, and theatre productions, our co-curricular offering enhances academic learning and supports creative growth.

Students finding their voice

Many of our clubs encourage leadership and provide experiences to enjoy agency. Students can lead initiatives, organise events and have a voice in shaping their club’s activities. For example, in our Model United Nations (MUN) club, students engage with global issues, develop skills in public speaking and negotiation and represent the School at national and international conferences.

Taking action

Societies such as Eco-Schools and the Community Service (CAS) group empower students to respond to vital environmental and social issues. By seeing the impact their service makes, it encourages a sense of agency, responsibility and tangible global citizenship.
