Prep School Curriculum

Play and exploration are key components of learning in the Prep School, supporting every child’s curiosity, social development and creativity. Our curriculum is broad and engaging, designed to develop independence, resilience, and a love of learning. Our teachers build strong partnerships with families, communicating openly and collaborating on a child’s learning journey.

This way, our staff come to understand each child’s learning style and any challenges, and their learning can be personalised within the curriculum.

Clubs and Societies

The clubs and after-school activities in Prep School encompass the creative arts, sports, languages, music, STEM and those focused on wellbeing, providing a wide range of opportunities. Many are led by specialist teachers and external professionals, ensuring high-quality and engaging experiences. They are all designed to be inclusive and accessible for everyone, fostering a supportive atmosphere that celebrates everyone’s efforts and enthusiasm.

Support is provided informally every day by our class teachers and our Phase Leaders, as well as through our strong Learning Support and EAL teams.
