Every Monday we all attend volleyball practice together and finally, we got to put our skills to the challenge in the Division 3 volleyball tournament. The volleyball group has been training very hard and we were really excited to take part in the tournament, playing against OIS and Park.
Because of Covid, we haven’t been participating in tournaments so we were all very nervous and had a mix of emotions among the team. At the start of the tournament, we found it very difficult to communicate with each other but by the end of the games, we were amazing at communicating.
Personally, I found it very challenging to work under pressure after not playing in a game situation for a long time. As a team, we were very proud of each other and we will all continue to improve our skills and hopefully have some more games. I would also like to thank Miss Edgar and Mrs Johnson for taking the time to coach us and Miss Small for organising this event for us.

The volleyball tournament was a great experience for us and it was a good way for us to relax from school and have fun. We won our game against OIS but lost against Park. It was still a good time for everyone.
