Our Campus Development Project

Welcome to the pages for the  Campus Development Project. This is where we will post the latest news, plans and images as this exciting project progresses.

Our vision is to build a campus that honours our rich heritage while providing state-of-the-art facilities to support our students’ learning and growth for generations to come.

We are finalising the composition of the new Design Team, who will be responsible for completing our architectural and engineering plans. The Design Team will include a well-known  Landscape Architect, whose focus will be on enhancing all the school’s green spaces and ensuring appropriate tree planting and security for our perimeter. We will plant trees around the School perimeter and in other locations, maintaining our commitment to plant three trees for each tree that we have to cut down.

Our objective is to finish the campus redevelopment plans as swiftly as possible, with our first submission for licensing approval anticipated before the end of 2025. We aim to commence construction on our first building, the Secondary extension (which will initially serve as a temporary building for children in Pre-Prep, Prep and 1º ciclo), in the Summer of 2026. This is expected to be finalised in one year, so that the Primary-aged children can start using it as a temporary building from September 2027. In the summer of 2027 we start renovating the Primary Queen’s building and build the Primary extension. We will share the final masterplan and individual building designs, alongside our complete phased delivery strategy, next term.

Until we have more news to share, please find below answers to frequently asked questions.

A word from our Head

"We’re tremendously excited about the changes our building project will bring in the coming years to St. Julian’s. And of course, our top priority will be to make sure the impact is minimised while the work takes place. "
