Our house system fosters a vital sense of community, sportsmanship, belonging and acceptance. All students and staff are mixed and assigned to one of four houses, encouraging friendships across the years and languages.
The houses are named Bucknall, Franklin, Etherington-Smith (ES) and Russell, all of whom were significant figures in shaping the School’s history.

A variety of sporting, academic, cultural and service activities are organised throughout the year. Students earn points for their house during events, encouraging a healthy sense of competition. But there are also non-competitive activities to promote a communal sense of togetherness.
For the Tutors Groups in Years 7, 8 and 9, students are placed into tutor groups based on their house, fostering a sense of camaraderie.

Leadership opportunities
There is a blend of Staff House Leaders and Student House Captains from Year 5/4º Ano to Year 12. They work together to coordinate house events and initiatives. Being a House Captain allows students to motivate and inspire others, and contribute to the development of the house system.
