Summer School

St. Julian’s Summer School is back this year with its 30th edition and is full of challenging, fun and exciting activities for children aged 3 to 14 to participate in and enjoy.

Tapping into your Dreams

“Dreams are never concerned with trivia” – Sigmund Freud

Activities will include workshops in drama, art and music, as well as sports and other adventures. Each week will culminate in a fun performance and presentation of certificates, for effort and achievement. Family and friends will be invited to watch the weekly performances, providing insight into some of the students’ work. The theme this year is “Tapping into your Dreams”, which explores the idea of ambition, as well as night-time dreams. Social issues, and dreams within the concept of the arts, will provide a framework for a highly creative programme.

Trips to the beach and other educational outings will also be a part of our programme and every Thursday, students over the age of 7, will have the opportunity to participate in an overnight camp!

Our entire summer school is run in English, providing children with an excellent opportunity to learn, practise or improve their English language skills, through individual and group work, team games and other activities. We cater for students of all levels and English language activities will be delivered accordingly.

St. Julian’s summer school this year will run from the 3rd of July to the 28th of July 2017. The days available are Monday to Friday 9.00 am until 5.00 pm and welcomes all children, aged 3 to 14, from all schools, as well as visitors to Portugal.
