PASTORAL

The tutor meets with their forms every morning for registration and is responsible for the pastoral and academic well being of their tutees. The tutor is the first point of contact for parents. Each parent will have the email address of the tutor at St Julian’s to facilitate rapid contact in the event of any concern pertaining to the welfare of the student. The Heads of Years monitor the progress of two year groups in conjunction with the tutors. They also deliver a Personal, Social and Religious Education programme to their year groups with the exception of the IB who have a Group Tutorial programme. The Head of Pastoral oversees the work of the tutors throughout the school and supervises the Heads of Years in their management of tutor teams.
