SECONDARY SCHOOLIt gives me great pleasure to introduce the St Julian's Secondary school website to interested browsers and readers. What follows should give you a clear idea of how our school is structured academically, pastorally and administratively. You will find information about roles and responsibilities and you will be able to visit each faculty and department to view what courses we offer to our students from Year 6 (Key Stage 2), through Key Stage 3 (offered formally in Mathematics), our (I)GCSE courses in Years 10-11 and finally our IB Diploma courses in Year 12-13. The aim of this site is not to provide you with exhaustive information but to provide a coherent summary of what the secondary section of St Julian's offers educationally to its students. We like to see ourselves as a "whole school" at St Julian's so we are keenly aware of the importance of inducting our primary school students into year 6 and our Portuguese Section students into the IB program. Precise information on these processes can also be found on our site. I hope this virtual introduction to the school will encourage you to visit us and I look forward to meeting if and when you do.
