PACTParents’ Association Combined with TeachersThe Parents’ Association at St. Julian’s has been active for many years with the clear objective of working in partnership with the school to create a spirit of cooperation, openness and good communication among parents, staff and pupils for the benefit of the school as a whole. Parents play a key role by supporting the school in the process of educating our children and that positive and proactive involvement enhances the school community. Parents can become involved in PACT in many ways including serving as Year Representatives, contributing to PACT’s IMPACT newsletter, participating in school committees and helping with events. Although PACT is often most well known for organizing or supporting events held at the school, the Association also has a charter to represent parents with school management and foster contact among the parent community. There is a Parents’ Association office at St. Julian’s where parents can meet, find information, or simply shop for second hand uniforms. While all parents at St. Julian’s are automatically members of PACT, many have found it very informative and rewarding to become further involved with our activities. Please feel free to contact me for further information about how you can contribute, or for any assistance you might need. Allison Bradfield |
