"Men on Branches".
I saw this electoral campaign poster on the side of the road over Christmas in Ireland. The wind had blown it into the trees, and it was just such an incredible contrast of his face, and so out of place. I did not rotate the camera to get the angle on his face.

Subway, 5th Avenue, New York.
I chose this photo as it was one of my favourites out of all of my photos. I really liked it as it was alive, there was movement in it which made it dynamic. Another thing I really liked about it was the simplicity of the photo itself, the way that there are only really two main points of focus being the train and the 5th Avenue sign. There are also only about three colours, mainly grey, yellow and black which I think gives off that subway feel. The way that everything is blurred except for the 5th Avenue sign.

Abandoned House.
Why?: I took this photograph while walking my dog. I came across a breath taking abandoned hotel and felt a certain urge to take a look around inside and take some pictures.
How?: In this unique picture I used flash, the flash managed to grab the sunlight coming through the window onto my dog, making the whole photograph surreal. My young dog in this old, abandoned ruin gives life to what must have been once a busy hotel.
